The Importance of Pre-Washing

UK roads are notorious for heavy rain, mud, and winter salt. Attempting to wash a vehicle without removing this initial layer of contamination often leads to swirl marks.

At nuroxecho, the exterior wash protocol begins with a non-contact pre-wash phase. This involves applying snow foam or a citrus-based pre-cleaner to soften and encapsulate dirt, allowing it to be rinsed away safely before any wash mitt touches the paint.

Structured Washing Steps

Step 1: Wheels First

Alloy wheels, tyres, and wheel arches often harbor the heaviest grit and brake dust. These are cleaned first using dedicated brushes and buckets to prevent this contamination from transferring to the bodywork.

Step 2: Safe Contact

Using a multi-bucket method (wash, rinse, and wheels), the vehicle is washed from top to bottom. High-quality microfiber or lambswool mitts are used to safely lift remaining dirt.

Step 3: Safe Drying

Drying is a common cause of paint damage. We recommend forced air drying for crevices and plush microfibre drying towels paired with a drying aid to reduce friction.
